Ho Chi Minh(Saigon) - Hue - Hoi An - Phang Nga - Hang En Cave - Hanoi

Highlights include the people, learning about and seeing firsthand relics of the rich and complex history of the country (including 14th and 15th century structures), Thich Nhat Hahn's root temple (Tu Hieu) in Hue, hiking into and camping in the third largest cave in the world, all the dragons, and meeting new colleagues (trailblazers in psychological services in Vietnam) in Hanoi.

I was very happy to come back to Hanoi to give a presentation at the Hanoi Medical University (though not so happy that my Visa was not approved due to an error in my name and I had to pay for another expedited visa and buy a new flight for the following day!)
